Who We Are and What We Do

Dress Your Best is operated by the Live to Give Relief Organization, whose mission is to promote the economic independence of men across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) since 2000. The generous support of community clothing and financial donations has enabled us to continue to supply men with high-quality, professional apparel for job interviews and employment. In 2018 alone, we provided professional clothing to over 600 men.

Our unique service offers referred clients a one-on-one appointment with our trained Image Consultants. Clients are assisted to select a professional wardrobe that fits well, suits their individual style, and gives them the confidence to make a good first impression on job interviews or when starting a new career.

Who Are Our Clients

Our clients are men over the age of 18 that have been referred to us by any of the nearly 100 non-profit agencies Dress Your Best has partnered with throughout the GTA. For information on how to become one of our clients please visit Who We Serve.

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to succeed. Dress Your Best is committed to providing a service that empowers men to thrive personally and professionally.

COVID-19 Update

At Dress Your Best our top priority is the well-being of our community. We are committed to being proactive and responsible in responding to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic to keep our Clients, volunteers, staff and community safe and healthy.

We continue to follow the guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), Ontario Public Health and the Toronto Public Health in connection with COVID-19. Education is key to understanding, and to that end, we will continue to closely monitor the situation.

On March 23 the city of Toronto declared a state of emergency. During these difficult times, we hope everyone can stay safe and healthy. Our boutique operations will continue to pause until we are safe to resume our services.

As such, we are taking the following cautionary steps to ensure the health and safety of our community;

• All Suiting Appointments in our boutique are on pause. We are connecting directly with all Clients who have existing appointments to re-schedule.

• All volunteer shifts (corporate and individual) will be re-scheduled once we resume regular scheduled operations. A member of our staff will email with full details as they become available.

• All full time staff members will be temporarily working remotely. Voicemail will be checked remotely, please allow at least one business day for replies.

• Clothing donations are on pause. Please do not leave any clothing donations outside our North York location.

During this time of uncertainty, I would like to thank you for your continued support as we do everything possible towards the goal of providing uninterrupted service to individuals we serve.

The most vulnerable populations become even more vulnerable in moments like this. Our services will be needed more than ever. Please consider making a donation to Dress Your Best to help support our mission.
